Imani Bailey is the founder and licensed nail specialist behind Maison d’Or, practicing under the professional identity The Nail Architect. She earned her California Manicurist License in 2019, and over the past eight years in the beauty industry, she has deepened her craft through advanced nail certifications, refining a method she can fully stand behind.
As a U.S. Navy veteran, she brings a standard of discipline and precision to this work that most studios simply don’t operate at. Early in her career, she noticed a pattern across the industry: clients rushed through appointments, treated as transactions, serviced in conditions that too often fell short on cleanliness and sanitation, and left with damaged nails and neglected skin from careless technique. Maison d’Or was built to be the opposite. Every service begins with a consultation. Every appointment takes place in a private suite. Every result is held to a standard she’s spent years developing, one rooted in the long-term health of your nail and skin, not just the finished look.
That standard now extends beyond her own chair. She trains other nail technicians in the same precision method, passing on a craft built on health, sanitation, and lasting technique.
